After experiencing intimate partner violence and subsequent post-separation abuse, our founder became acutely aware of the need not only to shift public perception of sexual assault and domestic violence, but to also change the way in which these subjects are addressed. Determined to make this vision a reality, Freed From Fear Foundation was born.
The purpose of this nonprofit organization is to raise awareness surrounding the issues of domestic violence and sexual assault, with a goal to change how intimate partner violence is viewed across the United States. Through advocacy, education, support, and outreach, we hope to empower victim survivors and enable change.
We believe that everyone deserves to live a life free from fear and abuse. We picture a world where every individual can define their own future and feel safe in the process of doing so.
